Hi Mickey, great lecture many thanks. So many interesting points and ways of thinking about things. The ‘needs/wants’, is something I highlight with people so that they can obtain better perspective. Often they can’t see a difference between the two, and when recounted to a friend, partner, parent etc, who does not share a “need” or even a “want”, this is where conflict can occur. Also love the “Internal doubt” scenario way of working with ‘What-if’s’. I shall adopt this. My qualifier (i.e. excuse/cop-out) when I use it (on occasion only of course…), has always been that external ‘What-ifs’ are actually valid questions in science and detective work. (Pathology is often both of those!) If you would like any help on the odd bit of translation for your course in English, do get in touch.
Hi Sonia,
Thank you very much for the kind words, and the offer to help 🙂
May be we’ll do a cooperation on the IEMT Relationship Practitioner training, for your audience.
Mickey, thank you for this. I too work with couples as individuals and run parallel session so that they stay in harmony on their IEMT journey. However, I’ve never had the courage to get them in the same room at the same time! Definitely food for thought.
Hi Mandie, great to read 🙂
About the not having the courage, if I may suggest another wey of looking at it is:
How familiar is the feeling that comes up when you think about getting them in the same room, at the same time? then do self-IEMT or exchange therays with a college 🙂
Good luck, tell me how it went 🙂
